A newly renovated Xfinity retail store recently opened in Eugene, giving residents in southern Willamette Valley a place to explore internet, mobile and entertainment technology while receiving in-person customer support.

Comcast reopened its updated store at 1063 Valley River Way, near the Valley River Center shopping district. The redesigned space features an interactive layout that allows visitors to test Xfinity products and services, speak with technology specialists and learn about connectivity options for homes and businesses.

Lane County Commissioner Pat Farr said the company continues to play an important role in keeping residents connected for work, school and entertainment.

“As one of our leading media and internet providers, Comcast continues to play an important role in keeping Eugene connected,” Farr said. “Thousands of residents rely on Comcast’s broadband, mobile and entertainment platforms every day; whether they’re working remotely, pursuing their education, running a small business or staying connected with family and friends.”

Inside the store, visitors can explore a range of services, including high-speed internet with multi-gigabit speeds, Xfinity Mobile wireless service and the company’s X1 television platform, which features voice-activated controls and interactive viewing features. The store also provides demonstrations of home security and automation tools through Xfinity Home, along with technology consultations for small businesses through Comcast Business specialists.

Keith Turner, senior vice president for Comcast in the Pacific Northwest, said the remodeled store reflects the company’s continued investment in Eugene.

“With our latest updates, residents can explore firsthand the powerful combination of Xfinity Internet, mobile and entertainment,” Turner said. “These services work better together to deliver speed, reliability and value for today’s connected customers.”

The Eugene store is staffed with sales consultants who can help customers sign up for services, manage accounts, exchange equipment or learn how to get more out of their devices.

The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
